Visit Your Local Tennis Club on "Open Day"

Twenty seven tennis clubs in the Auckland region are hosting a Club Open Day on Sunday Feb 13 between 1pm-4pm.
All members and non-members of any age and standard are welcome to go along to have a game on the club tennis courts and enjoy the facilities.  Clubs will offer a range of fun tennis activities on the Open Day and organisers will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the sport.

Whether you are five, fifty five or eighty five, tennis could be the sport for you. There is simply no right or wrong time to start playing the game which only emphasises the fact that tennis is a sport for a lifetime.  Tennis is a safe non contact sport that does not require expensive equipment.  If you like individual sports – tennis has it.  If you prefer team sports – it offers that too!

Unlike many other sports, tennis is gender neutral and provides equal opportunities for male and female to participate, enjoy and achieve!  Whatever your age, gender or physical ability tennis just may be the ideal sport for you!

Tennis is one of the most widely played sports in the world.  We have all seen players from around the globe playing incredible matches recently at our own ASB Classic and Heineken and also the Australian Open on television.  Here is your chance to see what you can do on the tennis court or to find out if your children are able to hit the ball at an early age.  Visit one of the 27 participating Auckland Tennis Clubs on Feb 13 between 1pm – 4pm to see if it is right for you and your family!
