The Manurewa Tennis Club will be celebrating its centennial year in 2009 with a special celebration being held over Labour Weekend, Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th October, 2009.

Parnell were the dominant force in the Scarbro Caro Bowl tennis semifinals with its men’s and women’s teams having straightforward victories to make the finals and also gain home court advantage for the big title showdown on Friday night.

The big winners in the final round robin matches of Scarbro Caro Bowl tennis in Auckland was the Parnell Tennis Club with the clubs men’s and women’s sides both finishing on top of the points table and gaining home semifinals.
