Alan Chester Wins 38th National Title

Auckland Tennis Board Chairman Alan Chester recently won the 65+ Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles titles at the 2007 New Zealand Championships held in Napier, 17th to 21st January  taking his total career titles to a massive 38.  The 38 titles Alan has amassed over his junior, 35+ and senior years is thought to be a New Zealand record.  In winning the three titles at the National Championships, Alan has also taken the "clean sweep" at least six times in his career.  We congratulate Alan and all of the other Auckland Players who took part in the 2007 National Championships.  Results listed below
